Ann “Snookie” Kiper Morrison, age 77, of Hodgenville, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at her residence.
She was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church; former President of the LaRue County Fair Board, volunteered for 52 years for Morrison Santa Claus Bus; a Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Boy Scouts, the Cub Scouts, LaRue County Homemakers, VFW, American Legion and BB Ranger Club.
Snookie was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bobby” Morrison; two sons, Tommy Morrison and John Paul Morrison; a daughter, Roberta Morrison; her dad, Jasper Paul Kiper; her mom, Margaret Lorraine Baker Kiper Gardner; her step-dad, Floyd “Toddy” Gardner and a brother, Danny Ennis.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Chelsie (Michael) West of Brandenburg; a grandson, Michael Morrison of Louisville; three great-grandchildren, Charlotte West, Amelia West, and Tyler Morrison and five cousins, Patricia Ann Hone of Louisville, Patrick John (Judith) Churchman of LaGrange, Michael B. (Laurie) Churchman of Cuenca, Ecuador and Kenneth Black and Chester Hockersmith, both of Westport.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Webster and Danny Rock officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
