Alma Sue Pierce

Alma Sue Pierce, age 85, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

A faithful believer in Christ, she was a member of the Church of Christ, a Kentucky Colonel and retired as a payroll clerk for the United States Navy at Pensecola Naval Air Station.

Alma  Sue was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Sue Tracy; her parents, Carl William and Juanita Elberteen Edlin; a grandson, Christopher Stevens; a sister, Linda Faye Woods Green and a brother, Charles Michael Woods.

She is survived by a daughter, Juanita Faye Pierce of Hodgenville; two brothers, Terry W. LaFollette of New Haven and Ronnie B. (Norma) Woods of Geneseo, IL; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 24, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. J.R. Donahue officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in New Haven.

Visitation will be held 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday, July 23, and after 9 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
