Viola Peace Caven, age 91, of Harrodsburg, formerly of Magnolia, passed away, December 24, 2018, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Lawrenceburg.
She was a housewife and a member of Aetna Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Deward Caven; her parents, Winston and Katherine Robinson Peace; two sisters, Fannie Wheeler and Lure Mae Pottinger and five brothers, Simon L., Calvin, Gene, Gerald and Albert Peace.
She is survived by two daughters, Joan (Donnie) Webb and Colleen (Terry) Morrison all of Harrodsburg; a son, Mark (Angie Druen) Caven of Magnolia; twelve grandchildren, Michelle (Kent) Harley, Brian (Talitha) Morrison, Stephen Morrison, Tommy (Amy) Reynolds, Jonathan Morrison, Carrie (Will) Ziesmer, Erin (Justin) Weddington, Sarah Marsh, Aquelia (Blake) Penn, Jacobi Caven, Markayla (Chris) Jackson and Haley (Bobby) Zamora; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a friend, Pam (Joe Paul) Cecil.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, December 28, 2018, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Morrison and Rev. Dennis Dean Peace officiating. Burial will follow in the Aetna Grove Church Cemetery in Green County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Thursday and after 11 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
