Paul D. Trayner, age 84, of Magnolia, passed away Saturday, November 03, 2018, at his residence.
He was formerly employed by Al Campisano Fruit Company and owned and operated Paul’s Little Market and Trayners Produce in Louisville and was known in Germantown as “The Produce Man”. Paul was a previous member of Vine Street Baptist Church in Louisville and a current member of Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church near Magnolia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ella Williams Trayner; a son, Michael Anthony Trayner; his parents, Malcom Everett and Sally Matt Davis Trayner; four sisters and a brother.
Paul is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Jeff) Needy of Louisville; two sons, Paul (Amy) Trayner, Jr., of Louisville and Gerald Trayner of Scottsville; four grandchildren, Christopher Trayner, Jeremy (Sandy) Trayner, Bryan (Ashley) Needy and Jennifer (Tyler) Oerther; eight great-grandchildren, Kaelin Trayner, Annabell Needy, Landon Oerther, Loreili Oerther, Henry Needy, Norah Cox, Carter Cox and Ella Cox and a special friend, Rosa Wright of Magnolia.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon (ET), Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM (ET), Tuesday at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia and after 10 AM (ET) Wednesday, at the church.
