Lawrence Jones

Lawrence Fulton Jones, age 85, of Buffalo, formerly of Louisville, passed away, Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.

He was an Army veteran, former owner and operator of Greenwood Market in Louisville and an avid hunter, beekeeper and gardener.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rozella Milby Jones; his parents, Fred and Jessie Thomas Jones; a daughter-in-law, Sandy Jones; a grandson, Ben Jones and two brothers, Norris and Charles Jones.

He is survived by two sons, Larry (Lucy) Jones of Kansas City, MO and Dwayne Jones of Louisville; two grandchildren, Melissa (Lee) Campbell and Corey Jones; two great-grandchildren, Kale Campbell and Adline Campbell; two sisters, Catherine Garmon and Barbara Jankosky both of Virginia and a companion, Shelia Dermody.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Tom Curry officiating officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
