James Cyril Owens

James Cyril Owens, age 77, of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, at his residence.

He retired from Elizabethtown Sportswear as a receiving clerk.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jack and Helen Paulina Smith Owens.

He is survived by his wife, Mae Owens; three sons, James Edward (Charlotte) Owens, David Michael (Shonna) Owens and Daniel Joseph Owens, all of Hodgenville; three sisters, Dottie (Chuck) Gebhart, Frances “Sissy” Davis and Cathy Skinner; a brother, Tommy (Pauline) Owens and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with burial to follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Monday and after 9 AM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
