Jackie H. Saling

Jackie H. Saling, age 81 years, of Louisville, passed away, Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville.

The Brownsville, Kentucky native was retired from Inland Container in Louisville and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Cova Woodcock Saling and two brothers, Bobby and Bill Saling.

He is survived by his wife, Vada Caven Saling; a daughter, Pattie Manning of Louisville; a son, Darwin (Lori) Saling of Louisville; six sisters, Anna (John) Helson, Sonna (Mike) Adwell, Judy (Bobby) Carnes, Kathy (Tony) Mello, Sue (Lee) Richardson and Teresa (Eddie) Coots; a brother, Michael (Linda) Saling; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM (EDT) Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Kelvin Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Aetna Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Green County.

Visitation will be 3-8 PM (EDT) Friday and after 9 AM (EDT) Saturday at the funeral home.
