Harold Thomas Sutherland, age 87 years, of Buffalo, passed away, Monday, February 12, 2018 at his residence.
He was owner and operator of Kentucky Golf Equipment in Buffalo for several years, member of Buffalo Baptist Church, a 59 year member of Gavel Lodge #570 F&AM in Magnolia, a former self-employed agriculture lime and rock engineer, an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and an avid antique tractor and engine enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Elizabeth Ogden Sutherland and his parents, Willie Taylor and Cloa Inez Thomas Sutherland.
He is survived by a daughter, Karen (Eric) Adkins of Hodgenville; a son, J.T. Sutherland of Elizabethtown and three grandchildren, Erica Adkins, Crystal Harman and Thomas Harman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 16, 2018 at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with the Rev. Roger Pepper officiating. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday and after 9 AM Friday at the funeral home.
