George Edward Nicholas

George Edward Nicholas, age 94, a lifelong LaRue County farmer, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

He was a member of Union Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Florence Castleman Nicholas; a sister, Pauline Coy; a brother-in-law, Alvin Coy and two nephews, Alvin Paul and Ralph Gordon Coy.

Survivors include a niece, Helen S. Conatser and all of his Union Christian Church family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, October 19, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Thursday and after 9 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
