Gene "Tiny" Lobb, age 64, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, August 3, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
He was owner and operator of G and C Lawn Care, former truck driver for Cruse Trucking in Upton and a member of the South Fork Baptist Church.
Tiny was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Anthony and Catherine Cruse Lobb; a half- sister, Bernice Underwood; and a half-brother, Earl Lobb.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Hawkins Lobb; three step-daughters, Jacqueline (James) Newton of Buffalo, Lisa Childress of Hodgenville and Jessica (Stu) LeHotta of Mt. Washington; a brother, Sidney (Doris Jean) Lobb of Bonnieville; a special nephew, Roger (Debbie) Underwood of Hodgenville; six step-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; his special pals, Buddy, Molly, Bubba J. and Conan.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 PM Wednesday and after 10 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
