Elmer Earl Howell

Elmer Earl Howell, age 86, of Hodgenville, departed this life for his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Helmwood Healthcare in Elizabethtown.

Earl was a member of Steadfast Baptist Church in Hodgenville; retired from Gates Rubber Company and was a lifelong farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Harper Howell; his parents, Elmer Lane and Florence Richardson Howell and a brother-in-law, Gerald Peace.

He is survived by three daughters, LuAnne (RK) Graham and Sheila Bloyd, all of Hodgenville and Kathy (Randy) Theriot of Bourg, LA; two granddaughters, Samantha (Jimmy) Boudreaux of Thibodaux, LA and Jennifer (James) Chauvin of Longview, TX; a great-grandson, Jacob Chauvin; a brother, JC Howell of Buffalo and a sister, Minnie Peace of Buffalo.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Rodney Troutman officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery near Buffalo.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM, Friday and after 9 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.
