Donnie Propes

Donnie Propes, age 68, of Hodgenville, passed away, Friday, October 12, 2018, at University of Louisville Hospital.

He was an employee of Nolin RECC since January 4, 1971 and was currently serving as Maintenance Superintendent. He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and an avid supporter of Larue County Athletics the University of Kentucky Wildcats and his community.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Curry Propes and his parents, Donald Thomas and Geneva Bell Morris Propes.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin (Tina) Propes of Campbellsville and Kyle (Jennifer) Propes of Hodgenville; a sister, Doneva (Ron) Reynolds of Jonesville; three grandchildren, Dawson, Allen and Abigail Propes and his significant other, Marie Griffith of Mt. Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, October 15, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Shockley officiating.  Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 6 PM, Sunday and after 9 AM, Monday at the funeral home.
