Donna Sue “Suzie” White, age 67, of Buffalo, passed away, Monday, December 24, 2018, at her residence.
She was a retired meter reader for Nolin RECC and a former bus driver for LaRue County Schools and Central KY Head Start. Suzie was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 113 and served on Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department for many years. She loved life, her family, gardening and animals, taking in every stray that came around.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen “Rick” White, her parents, Jerry Thomas and Myrtle Gray Turner and a granddaughter, Whitney Leanne Cleveland.
She is survived by a daughter, Richshonda White (Chris) Cleveland of Buffalo; her fiancé, Charles “Chuck” Cravens of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Courtney LaDawn Cleveland and Hayden Allen Cleveland both of Buffalo; two sisters, Diane (Dale) Warren of Mt. Sherman and Brenda Burd of Hodgenville; a brother, Jerry W. (Peggy) Turner of Buffalo; a special daughter, Rabecca “Buffy” Long of Hodgenville and special family friend, LaShonda Darnell of Buffalo.
In keeping with Suzie’s wishes she was cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Warren officiating. Burial of her ashes will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Friday and after 10 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.
