Dennis Dale Locke, age 60, of Buffalo, passed away, Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown after a life lived with his family and rowdy friends.
He frequently spoke of his love for God, his salvation and how he looked forward to the day he would see his mom and dad again when he passed away.
Dennis was a member of the Aetna Union Baptist Church in Hart County and a former truck driver for Rockit Trucking Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Louise Locke; a brother, Jimmy Locke; a sister, Norma Jean Mann; two nephews, Chris Barnes and Cody Joiner; his grandparents and a host of other family members.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Latricia Locke; a daughter, Angel (Josh) French of Hodgenville; three sons, Darrell (Suesan) Locke, Kevin (Kesha) Locke and Reggie (Destiny) Locke all of Hodgenville; three sisters, Juanita Kay (Ray) Meredith and Sandra (Tommy) Buley all of Hodgenville, Lynda (Raymond) Barnes of Buffalo; two brothers, Ronnie Locke of Buffalo and David (Dee) Locke of Hodgenville; a sister-in-law, Ashley Lynn O’Sullivan of Bardstown and a brother-in-law, Michael Lance Rainer; 11 grandchildren and a family friend, Jane Kelley.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 1, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM Thursday and after 9 AM Friday at the funeral home.
