Cleo Wells Owen

Cleo Wells Owen, age 90, of Magnolia, passed away, Thursday, January 31, 2019, at his residence.

He was a faithful member and deacon at Magnolia Baptist Church, a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Magnolia Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lennie P. and Lula Ethel Loyall Owen; twelve siblings and a granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, of 68 ½ years, Martha Kinkade Owen; two daughters, Brenda Berger of Elizabethtown and Shirley (Jim) Caudill of Campbellsville; a son, Charles R. (Melvina) Owen of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee; a brother, Clifford (Mary Lou) Owen of Magnolia; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM (EST), Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Magnolia Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Pollard and Rev. Roger McGuffin  officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Saturday and from 10 to 1:30 PM, Sunday at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia.
