Caffey Gertrude Hughes, age 64 years, of Buffalo, passed away, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her residence.
The native of Barren County was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Locke; her parents, Delmar Clifford and Mary Virginia Moulden McKinney; two sisters, Gail Philpott and Sandie Daniels and a brother, Buck McKinney.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Kaye (Ricky) Crump of Cave City; two sons, Steven Lee Hughes of Bardstown and Jason Allen (Heather) Hughes of Albany; a step-daughter, Stacey Hert of Hodgenville; four sisters, Linda Hughes and Brenda McKinney both of Glasgow, Shelia Gibson of Buffalo and Vicki Ann (Gene) O’Neal of Bowling Green; three brothers, Gordon Ray (Sherry) McKinney of Rineyville, Danny Wayne (Theresa) McKinney of Green County and Robert Paul (Rosemary) McKinney of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM (EDT) Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Darrell Hurt officiating. Burial will follow in the Aetna Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Hart County.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM (EDT) Tuesday and after 9 AM (EDT) Wednesday at the funeral home.
