Bill Pierson, Jr.

Harold William “Bill” Pierson, Jr., age 69 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at his residence.

He was a retired Staff Sergeant for the United States Army, retired from the United States Postal Service and was a Vietnam War Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold William Pierson, Sr. and Patricia Lucille Collins Pierson; a sister and a brother.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Pierson; two sons, David (Sarah) Pierson of Radcliff and B.J. Burgess of Hodgenville; four daughters, Jennifer Carp of Radcliff, Lisa (Jonathon) Lee and Lindsey (Charlie) Perkins all of Buffalo and Bonny Burgess of Hodgenville; a brother, Steve (Linda) Pierson of Arkansas; three sisters, Terri Pierson, Tina Pierson and Mary Pierson and eight grandchildren, Brandon Pierson, Nathan Pierson, Jason Pierson, Cash Lee, Ava Lee, Sawyer Benningfield, Asa Perkins and Audrey Perkins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Gordon Earl Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow at 1:30 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday and after 9 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
