Alice Lee (Miller) Thomas

Alice Lee Thomas, age 83 years, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Hodgenville, where she loved to sing in the choir.  She was a homemaker and a graduate of the historical, Bond-Washington High School of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Thomas, her parents, Henry Miller, Sr. and Clara Lane Handley Miller, three sisters, Lois Jane Smith, Mary Elizabeth Handley Cobb and Maxine Powell and two brothers, Billy Gene Miller and Douglas Handley.

She is survived by two brothers, Robert Miller of Louisville and Henry Miller of Hodgenville and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, August 29, 2019 at First Baptist Church with Elder Jerry Wilkinson and Rev. Billy Curle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hubbard Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and after 9:30 AM Thursday at the church.
