James T. Pack, Jr. age 84, of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

He was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict and retired from LG&E after 42 years of service. His memberships include Rock Haven Community Baptist Church in Meade County and the DAV, VFW and American Legion in Hodgenville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Lewis Pack; his parents, James T. and Ruth Crabb Pack, Sr.; two sisters, Ruth L. Marcum and Doris Jane Riggs and a son-in-law, Ronnie Williams.

He is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Williams and Connie (Barry) Brown, all of Elizabethtown; two sons, Donnie (Debbie) Pack of Hodgenville and James Neal (BeLynda) Dunn of Rineyville; two brothers, Roland N. Pack of Brownsville and David Wayne (Brenda) Pack of Falls of Rough; eight grandchildren, Ashley (Andy) Perry, Neal Pack, Kristen (Jeff Anthony) Pack, Stephanie (Michael) Strange, Chad Pack, Todd (Amber) Brown, KatLyn Wolford and Jason Dunn; two step-grandchildren, Candi (Wade) Boehmer and LaCosta (Jason) Williams; four great-grandchildren, Zachary Perry, Brooklyn Perry, Sadie Jo Brown and Conder Strange and nine step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 10, 2017, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Todd Brown, Bro. Sid Lewis and Rev. Richard Binkley officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 8 PM on Sunday and after 8:30 AM, Monday at the funeral home.
