Jerry Lee Smith, age 58, of Hodgenville, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at his residence with his wife and sons by his side.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Cindy Russell Smith; two sons, Evan Smith and Lane Smith all of Hodgenville; a sister, Shelia Saffel of Hodgenville; his father and mother-in-law, Garnett and Elsie Russell; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Gloria and Mike Brandenburg, Chris and Tara Russell and Emily Vincent and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family would also like to express their appreciation to their Hosparus nurse, Ashley Jury.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Roger Pepper, Tommy Locke and Whitney Brooks Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:30AM to 8 PM, Monday and after 9 AM, Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
